In a financial sense, retirement planning refers to an allocation of income or savings for future retirement. The goal of all retirement planning is for a person to be able to live on a reduced level until retirement age. However, no matter what kind of retirement plan we decide on, it can only go so far because we are responsible to other people, our children and grandchildren. In order for these persons to have the best life possible, we as well as the rest of our family and friends should be able to meet their needs and aspirations as well.
Retirement planning is something we all need to do. If you are considering having a family or already have, your current salary may not provide enough funds to make sure that your children have everything they will need to reach their fullest potential. Many people take their current jobs for granted and think that when their children grow up, they will have money saved for their own retirement. This is simply not true. While a job will give you the salary you need for your current lifestyle, the amount of money you will receive once your children are grown will not cover the cost of living when they are adults.
